BGAV Scholarships and Ministerial Education Funds

Through Cooperative Missions offerings, the Baptist General Association of Virginia (BGAV) provides scholarships and ministerial education funds for eligible Virginia Baptist students who need aid in financing their education.

BGAV Scholarships and Ministerial Education Funds can help students earn an undergraduate degree, pursue undergraduate or graduate education in preparation for vocational ministry, or access training and continuing education opportunities.

Online Scholarship Applications

The BGAV Scholarships and Ministerial Education Funds Committee oversees these funds and makes the following awards to Virginia Baptist Students who meet all established criteria:

BGAV Achievement and BGAV Ministerial Education Funds
applications are closed for the 2013–2014 academic year.

BGAV Academy Scholarship
applications are currently closed. Applications for the
2013-2014 academic year will be accepted
from June 1, 2013 through October 1, 2013.

BGAV Nontraditional Ministry Education Scholarships
are also currently being accepted.
