Derbyshire Baptist Church, Richmond I hope you are
planning on joining us for a terrific Virginia Baptist Church Music
Conference which is jointly sponsored by Pine Lake Music Company in
Atlanta. The full registration fee is $125 . Lloyd Larson, David
Schwoebel and Joe Martin will be there to lead us. This
conference will feature "the best of the best"
reading packets. All of the packets are composed of the best sellers from
Pine Lake's previous conferences this year. In addition, there will be
special interest break-outs and a free mass Adult Choir Workshop and Worship

Gloria Deo will feature a free Adult Choir Workshop led
by our clinicians, Lloyd Larson, David Schwoebel and Joe Martin on Thursday
evening, October 1, from 7:00 - 9:00 PM. The only cost will be the purchase
of the music used. The Music list may be found at Mass Choir Music Music
may be purchased on Thursday night, but please contact Pine Lake Music ahead
of time to ensure that the number of copies that you need will be available. The
Mass Choir will present the pieces in a special worship concert on Friday
evening at 7:00 PM along with selections performed by our guest clinicians. |

As a part of Gloria
Deo, Steve Roddy, Director of the Houston Children's Chorus, will be leading
a workshop and reading session for children's choir directors and workers on
Saturday morning, October 3, from 9:00 AM until noon. Separate
registration information for this workshop is on the Pine Lake Children's
Music Conference - Richmond web site. The cost is $20 per person. |

Join us for a new 3-6
octave fall handbell festival featuring Advent, Christmas and general pieces.
It will be held on Saturday, October 31, at Broadus Memorial Baptist Church
in Richmond. David Fitzgerald will be our clinician. Space
is limited, so register early! Cost will be $20 per ringer, which includes a
box lunch. More information and a registration form is now available at Fall
Handbell Festival. This
festival is in addition to our regular Handbell Festivals which will be held
in 2010 on February 5-6 (Eagle Eyrie) and February 19-20 (Richmond). |

Women's Chorale will be in concert at Park View Baptist Church, Portsmouth,
VA at 6:30 PM on this Saturday, September 26. Take this opportunity to come
and worship with them. |

The Virginia Baptist
Male Chorale and the Virginia Baptist Women's Chorale will be part of the
Tuesday evening worship experience on November 17 at the Fredericksburg Expo
and Conference Center. The service will begin at 7:00 PM with pre-service
music by the Virginia Baptist Brass. |
