Full-Time Accountant Job Opportunity
The Virginia Baptist Mission Board is seeking a full-time Accountant to work in the Treasurer’s Office. An Accounting degree is preferred, though qualified candidates will be considered. Experience is essential. Ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, be responsible, efficient, confidential and able to multi-task. Candidate will be proficient in Microsoft Office and knowledge of Blackbaud Financial Edge and Raiser’s Edge is preferred but not required. Responsibilities include: managing computer accounting systems, preparing information for the annual audit, general ledger review and maintenance, preparing month end month accounting reports, annual budget preparation, payroll and employee benefits, and other tasks as required or needed. HopeTree Family Services has PRN positions available in a 24-hour residential home, located in Richmond and Farmville, Virginia, caring for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
The Full-Time schedule consists of a fluctuating work week which is 4-days on, including overnights, and 4-days off. Daily duties involve providing care to residents in regards to food preparation, housekeeping, personal hygiene, social skills, and transportation. |
| Requirements |
Must be at least 21 years of age with a minimum of a high school diploma; college degree in related field preferred. Must have a valid Virginia driver’s license and acceptable driving record. We offer a competitive salary and an excellent benefits package.
