Emerging Leaders Resource Specialists
What will your church look like in ten years? How are you identifying and developing leaders for the future? In what ways is God calling people to ministry and service through your fellowship?
An Emerging Leaders Resource Specialist is available to come to your church to facilitate a path to identify, equip/nurture, and to locate growth/ministry opportunities for future leaders. Sixty Resource Specialists have answered the call of God to minister in this special way with emerging leaders-- 32 with children and preschool, 11 with youth, 11 with collegiate and young adults, and 6 with adults. These specialists live throughout the state and are skilled practitioners who are eager to advance the Kingdom through developing emerging leaders.
So what does this mean for your church?
You may request an Emerging Leader Resource Specialist in a particular age level of your interest. The Resource Specialist will arrive at your church or association ready to facilitate learning:
• Developing faith in Christ in age specific and appropriate ways.
• Discerning call and understanding the relevance of that call in an individual’s life.
• Discovering spiritual gifts and how that giftedness impacts one’s calling.
• Finding potential ministry/service growth opportunities.
• Charting a course for developing emerging leaders of every age within your church.
• Leading Bible studies relevant to the particular age level.
You may request an Emerging Leader Resource Specialist in two ways:
• Visit www.vbmb.org/emergingleaders/resourcespecialists.htm
• Contact Carol Seeley at 800.ALL.BGAV Ext. 2243 or by email at
