Junior High Weekend

| Date |
October 8-10, 2010 |
| Location |
Eagle Eyrie Baptist Conference Center |
| About |
Junior High Weekend is designed for students in grades 6-8 during the 2010-2011 school years.
The weekend will include worship, morning devotions, special interest conferences, recreation, and fellowship. |
| Theme |
Power Surge (Acts 1:8 NIV)
Power, when used for good, can be a transformational force in the world. Jesus talks of a different kind of power when talking with his disciples about the coming of the Holy Spirit. This new power would be like none other the world has ever known! God’s power through the Holy Spirit can help to change direction, impact events and relationships and turn hearts toward God. Join us for a weekend of imagining how the Holy Spirit can work in and through our lives.

Leader Biographies
David Rhodes
Wayfarer Ministries, Spartanburg, SC
Open Website
Dave Rhodes unearths memorable insights about God and life with a subversive approach that creates a welcomed disturbance to the status quo. In all of the intersections he creates, he leads people to hear the voice of God and trust the heart of God enough so that they act on what they’ve heard. Dave was one of the co-founders of Wayfarer in 2000, and he serves as lead strategist helping to develop and refine the vision of Wayfarer Ministries.
Logan Jones
Northminster Baptist Church, Richmond, VA
Open Website
Logan is a nothing but a tool in the hands of the living God. Literally, Logan feels that ever since the Almighty took a firm hold on New Year’s Eve 1999, there has not been a day that has gone by without the palpable awareness of being held in the mighty hands of this odd personality changing and affecting everything. Every time Logan has the privilege of leading worship it is his heart to share the overwhelming truth of God's great furious Love that saves sinners and reconciles this broken world with God's new creation already underway in our midst.
