Youth Ministry Coordination Team
My wife loves to cook and I love to eat! It's a beautiful arrangement if you ask me. She especially likes to create new dishes every now and then and I am the lucky one who gets to be the taste tester. The smells wafting through the house are delightful! She serves her new creations with delight and then always asks "so, what do you think?" Most times it is awesome. But every now and then, my thought is, "It's delicious but there's something missing. I can't put my finger on it, but whatever it is, if added, would make it even better!"
Youth ministry can be like that, too. We have all the ingredients and we mix it up and most times it turns out good. But sometimes we can't seem to put our finger on that one missing ingredient that would move it from good to great!
That's where the Youth Ministry Coordination Team (YMCT) might be able to play the role of Emeril and BAM!…add that missing ingredient to help your youth ministry be even better. In the pages that follow, you will learn more about the youth ministry offerings of the Virginia Baptist Mission Board. Through the YMCT, we offer a variety of ingredients to help strengthen your youth ministry including programs, consultations, retreats, workshops, mission camp experiences and more. All of these are offered at various times during the year to help you balance your youth ministry calendar. Perhaps you are wondering what that "missing ingredient" is in your youth ministry? We'd be happy to stop by your youth ministry "kitchen" and serve as a taste tester to help determine what that missing ingredient is to help you take your youth ministry to the next level.
So, as you think about your youth ministry recipe for 2012, consider placing an order for some fresh ingredients to help you plan a delightful entrée for your students, parents and adult leaders. We're always cooking something…so grab a seat and let's share some time together around the youth ministry table.
