Walt MuellerKeynote Speaker from CPYU (Elizabethtown, PA)
Dr. Walt Mueller is the founder and President of the Center for Parent/Youth Understanding, a non-profit organization serving schools, churches, and community organizations worldwide in their efforts to strengthen families by helping those who know and love kids to understand today’s rapidly changing youth culture. Walt has been working with young people and families for over 33 years. He is a recognized authority on youth culture and family issues, and has appeared on numerous media outlets internationally to discuss teenagers and their world. A regular seminar and conference speaker, he communicates effectively with adults and teenagers alike. He has authored numerous
books including Understanding Today’s Youth Culture and Engaging the Soul of Youth Culture.
Lilly LewinThin Places (Saint Helena, CA)
Lilly Lewin is a worship curator, and the founder of Thinplace: a pilgrimage of discovery and creativity. Her passion is helping people of all ages engage God and God’s Story. Lilly takes individuals and communities outside the box of worship, beyond singing, through multi-sensory prayer and experiential learning, contemplation and art. She is the author of Sacred Space: A Hands-On Guide to Creating Multisensory Worship Experiences with Dan Kimball, and articles in publications such as Youthworker, Immerse Journal, and Curating Worship. Lilly and her husband Rob and their boys are currently on pilgrimage in St. Helena, California along with the Fred, the Wonder Spaniel.
Tim LevertReynolds United Methodist Church (Columbus, OH)
Tim has been working with students since 1992. He earned a PhD in youth ministry from the New Orleans Baptist Seminary and has served churches in Louisiana, Maryland, and Ohio. Tim recently co-authored The Nine Best Practices for Youth Ministry with Kurt Johnston, and he is working on two new book projects: a guide for students on living and revealing the Kingdom of God, and a one-year student devotional. Tim is a regular contributor to Group Magazine, and he has a recurring role on "The Simply Youth Ministry Show." He is currently the Pastor of Youth and Discipleship at Reynoldsburg UMC in Columbus, OH after an 8 year stretch as a church planter in Baltimore, MD. He is married to Tasha, and they have three beautiful and strong-willed daughters.
David BurkeEnthusiastic Communications (Middletown, DE)
On a national and international level, David challenges youth ministries and equips adults at events with passion, humor, relevance and authenticity. David is a frequent speaker at events sponsored by Youth Specialties, Group Publishing, and Compassion International. He is a veteran with 25 years of youth ministry experiences as a speaker, author, leader, minister and denominational leader. David, his wife, Kathryn, and their three children live in Middletown, DE.
Bryan DupuisCool Spring Baptist Church (Mechanicsville, VA)
Bryan enjoys sharing life with high school and college age students at Cool Spring Baptist Church in Mechanicsville, VA. He has written for Youthworker Journal and has a deep passion to see students engage culture from a missional perspective. His desire is to help youth ministers transform their youth ministry to a missional mindset that sees every day as a mission opportunity and not just a set time in the summer calendar. He loves sharing life with his wife, Penny, and their three children, Evan, Adeline, and Malina.
