Senior High Weekend

Imagine a mountain top experience…now add 700+ students and leaders lifting their voices in praise to God…now imagine God's Spirit moving in hearts and minds.

That’s what Senior High Weekend is all about. Eagle Eyrie Conference Center, located high atop the mountains in Lynchburg, will host our weekend event.

This year we’ll challenge your students to live from the "inside out," for Matthew 23:26 says:

"You blind Pharisee! First clean the inside of the cup,
so that the outside also may become clean."

Youth Minister Training

We also provide over 4 hours of training (led by Allen Jackson) in youth ministry. This has become a valued part of our weekend experience. While students are in their breakout session, adults will also have time to learn more about reaching and ministering to students today. For more information, please contact Ken Dibble.

Student Break Out Sessions

Numerous breakout sessions (17 total) are offered for students throughout the weekend!

Emerging Leader Tracks

We also offer two special breakout sessions for students who may be sensing a "call to ministry" or even those in whom you see a special giftedness for ministry/service that you would like to nurture and reinvest back into your church’s ministry:

Emerging Leader Track (Level 1)
Limited to 40 students sensing a call to ministry or desiring to develop and strengthen their leadership skills. Students will focus on a biblical understanding of spiritual gifts, complete a gifts discovery instrument and learn how their gifts can be used for ministry in their church or community. This is a continuous bridging the two Saturday morning sessions only.

Emerging Leader Track (Level 2)
Students must have completed the Level 1 track prior to attending this track. Student will learn about personality types, discovery their own personality type based on information from the instrument administered and then discern how their personality type blended with their spiritual giftedness can assist them in discovering more applicable praxis opportunities for ministry that maximizes both giftedness and personality

Please Note: These two breakout sessions are sequential, so those who attended Level 1 in 2011 are eligible for Level 2 this year. Level 1 has a maximum of 40 students, so be sure to enroll your students early by contacting Ken Dibble.
