Southwest Virginia Partnership
 The Clinch Valley Baptist Association, Powell River Baptist Association, Wise Baptist Association, and the Virginia Baptist Mission Board are emphasizing missions projects in the Lee, Scott and Wise counties of Southwest Virginia.
Onsite Coordinators
Tony and Jan Johnson are from Lynchburg, Virginia, and will serveas Virginia Baptist Venturers for the next two years. Tony and Jan will live in Nickelsville during the duration of this partnership and coordinate local volunteer efforts.
Project Emphases
Virginia Baptists are invited to join in:
 Evangelism to local communities - Assisting local churches in reaching "marginalized" people
- Becoming acquainted with mission efforts of associations
- Developing greater unity via togetherness in Body of Christ
- Helping churches get to know and pray for each other
Projects
Associations and churches in the area will request volunteers for their projects. Virginia Baptists can volunteer by contacting the onsite coordinators, who will match the projects with volunteers. Projects will include construction, social ministry, backyard Bible clubs, outreach and other types of ministry.
 Housing
Our volunteer housing facility is a former nursing facility with enough room for 56 volunteers to stay comfortably and prepare meals for themselves in the full kitchen during their mission trip. Please contact
