The International Baptist Convention (IBC) is a fellowship of more than 65 English-speaking churches in 23 countries. The Virginia Baptist family has been partnering with the IBC since October 2007. Our kickoff project was during the IBC’s 2008 summer meeting in Interlaken, Switzerland, when about 40 Virginia Baptists from all over the state provided a children’s retreat.
The IBC has a fascinating role in the Kingdom, ministering to people on the move throughout Europe and the Middle East. Recently several international churches from Central and South America have joined their family.
With the prevalence of English in business and communication, as well as the freedom of movement in countries formerly communist, many people are living in countries where they are strangers. IBC churches offer a place to people who do not feel "at home."

The children's ministry project happens July 4th–14th, 2012. Cost $2750. We need 30 volunteers to provide VBS and children's discipleship at the IBC Summer Conference in Interlaken, Switzerland.
