Virginia Baptist Women's Chorale

The Chorale is composed of women that serve in a music leadership role in their church. Female music leaders from all across the state have been presenting inspiring concerts of sacred music.

Our membership has consisted of ladies that have served full-time or part-time as Ministers of Music, instrumentalists and accompanists, leaders of a musical group in the church, as denominational workers, or wives of Virginia Baptist pastors.

The Chorale has led in worship at Denominational meetings and in churches across the state.

Membership Information

The Virginia Baptist Women’s Chorale is open to musically trained women who are practicing singers and who meet at least one of the following criteria:

• Leaders of a Baptist church music program in Virginia (paid or volunteer)
• Instrumentalists serving regularly as accompanists (for church music organizations)
• Former members of the Virginia Baptist Women's Chorale
• Wives of paid church staff members
• Denominational workers

The chorale has an annual weekend retreat and conducts several (usually 4) concerts a year.
