Church and Ministry Grants
Churches, Associations, Ministry Partners, and others affiliated with the BGAV are encouraged to request funds from the Virginia portion of the World Hunger Offering.
Funds must used as outlined in the World Hunger Funds Policy as established by the Glocal Missions and Evangelism Board Committee.

Stop Hunger Now
Stop Hunger Now is a ministry that allows people to package simple, rice based meals that then get shipped all across the globe to help end hunger in our lifetime. Dozens of Virginia Baptist churches have hosted packaging events as a mission project for the entire church. We partner with this organization by hosting events and assisting with getting these meals into the hands of hungry people around the world.
Angel Food Ministries
Angel Food Ministries was started by a husband and wife team who desired to provide food for their neighbors in Monroe, Georgia. It began by giving boxes of food to 34 families and now provides food to over 500,000 families in 34 states each month. AFM has over 100 host sites within Virginia and 25% of them are BGAV congregations. We partner with them to provide healthy food at incredibly low costs to people all across the Commonwealth.
