Share Hope with Your Community This Easter Season

The Virginia Baptist Mission Board (VBMB) is once again partnering with the North American Mission Board (NAMB) in order to provide our Virginia Baptist churches an opportunity to participate in GPS 2020: God’s Plan for Sharing.

God’s Plan for Sharing (GPS) is a biennial nationwide evangelism campaign that is part of a
10–year vision to see the Great Commission fulfilled through:

"Every Believer Sharing, Every Person Hearing by 2020."

GPS Game Plan

This year's theme for God's Plan for Sharing, Reaching Across North America, includes:

8-week media saturation campaign during March and April 2012.

Community-reaching evangelistic event in April 2012 by participating churches including their own hosting, planning, and implementation.

Prayerwalking and invitation distribution to the event one to two weeks before the event by participating churches.

Follow-up with event attendees after the event by participating churches.

Implementation Timeline

This is an eight week campaign that involves these four simple steps:

6–8 Weeks Before Community Event: Targeted media saturation including TV, radio, billboards, newspaper, campaigns, and more!

4–6 Weeks Before Community Event: Prayerwalking of local communities by participating churches.

1–4 Week Before Community Event: Saturation of local communities by participating churches using "clear bags" that contain:

• A "Find It Here" tract, * Free while supplies last! *
• A customized church brochure, and
• A special invitation to your upcoming Community Event.

5 Weeks After Easter: Participating churches engage in a strategic follow-up process.
