Disaster Relief Volunteer Training
It’s pretty plain and simple – without volunteers there would be no Virginia Baptist Disaster Relief Ministry. Volunteers are not merely the backbone that runs through the center of this ministry. They are the muscle and sinew. Volunteers are the ligaments and joints that are required for this organic ministry to function, grow and be stretched in order to attain new heights in our responses. Without volunteers – we are nothing.
So, we take our volunteers seriously. Our Disaster Relief leadership is expected to provide quality training, leadership, fellowship and the opportunity to serve. Our desire is for our volunteers to be the best that they can be. In return, we have expectations of our volunteers and we hold them accountable. We desire a high level of competency and reliability and expect a high level of interest, accessibility and trust.
