Transition is defined as “a passage from one place, period, state, stage of development, type, etc., over, across, or through to another.” Whether we like it or not, transition happens! Baptist World Alliance (BWA) Congress:
Experience the Aloha of the Spirit of God
Aloha is an important word in the Hawaiian language – it can mean hello or goodbye, but also means love and affection. Some say that to the Hawaiian of old, Aloha meant “God in us.” At the 20th Baptist World Congress, Baptists from all over the world are invited to come and experience the Aloha of the Spirit of God in Hawaii where the trade winds remind everyone that God’s path is like that of the wind – traced, but never predicted. Make plans to be a part of this life-transforming event in Honolulu, July 28 – August 1, 2010.
For more information, visit the BWA webpage. For travel assistance and information on customized travel packages, visit the BWA Travel Arrangements webpage.

The wise men were looking for a sign. A sign that would lead them to the long-awaited Messiah.
As wise men they were always on the lookout — seeking the one who would be their salvation.
The sign that would lead them came in the form of a star.
Virginia Baptists are on mission to shine the light and love of Jesus Christ to those in darkness.
Through the combined giving power of 1,400 Baptist General Association of Virginia churches to Cooperative Missions, we are able to witness to those who are seeking God’s illuminating love.
