Transition is defined as “a passage from one place, period, state, stage of development, type, etc., over, across, or through to another.” Whether we like it or not, transition happens! So why not be intentional about it? The 21-C Conference is designed to help Virginia Baptist leaders lead their churches from where they are today to where they believe God would like for them to be in the future.
 

These seminars will be held at various locations throughout the state and are designed for church staff and lay leaders who handle taxes and compensation. These seminars are free of charge and are designed to help your church make sure it understands and is complying with federal tax laws.

Every image which we have of Henry Keeling Ellyson shows the man when he was full of years. The bust and the portrait and the engraving and the studio photograph all show the man when he was in his late sixties which was considered “old age” in 1890. But Henry Keeling Ellyson burst upon the Virginia Baptist scene when he was a very young man. We only can imagine how youthful he must have appeared.
