Virginia Baptists Response to the Virginia Tech Tragedy
As the Virginia Baptist family gathers for worship this weekend, we remember those whose lives have been affected directly or indirectly by this week’s shooting on the campus of Virginia Tech. We offer our prayers for them and for those who are ministering to them in the name of Jesus Christ.
Virginia Baptists are responding to this tragedy through the Baptist Collegiate Ministry (BCM) at Virginia Tech, through local congregations in the Blacksburg area, and through Crisis Care Chaplains, who are trained and deployed in partnership between Disaster Relief and Family Wellness Ministry of the Virginia Baptist Mission Board.
Please share these prayer concerns with your congregation as you worship this weekend.
