Summer Camp Program

Camp Piankatank's Summer Camp Program exists to provide a diverse range of age-appropriate programs for children and youth that encourage physical, spiritual, social, and emotional growth within a safe and exciting, Christ-centered environment.

Camp Offerings

• Overnight Camps
  Camp Piankatank offers weeklong overnight summer camps for 10-17 year olds and two-night camps for 7-9 year olds. Check out sailing camps, adventure camps, sports camps, and water adventure camps.
• Day Camps
  Camp Piankatank offers summer day camps for 6-9 year olds. These campers climb the rock wall, swim, canoe, do crafts, and enjoy Bible studies.
• Weekend Family Camps
  Father/Son, Mother/Daughter, and Family Weekends provide opportunities for fathers and sons, mothers and daughters, or the entire family to experience a weekend of family fun and spiritual renewal. Children are welcome to attend with an adult role model other than a parent.

Special Tracks

• Amazing Adventure/Extreme Escape (FREE!)
  Includes: Rock climbing, canoeing, sports, V-Swing, and more.
• EdVenture ($35 Extra)
  Includes: Field trip to Williamsburg.
• Fish Fun ($30 Extra) 
  Includes: Professionally chartered ½ day fishing trip.
  Extra: $25 per rod, reel, and tackle kit for those who do not have their own.
• Outdoor Outburst (FREE!)
  Includes: Soccer, Volleyball, Ultimate Frisbee, Kickball, Basketball, and Pool provided.
  Special:  Rockwall, V-Swing, and Craft classes may also be offered as available.
• Saddle Sisters (Incl. in Girls-Only Week; $130 as stand-alone camp)
  Includes: Daily travel to a local horse ranch for riding instruction is at a beginners level, care of horses, several rides throughout the week, and much more!
• Sailing ($80 Extra)
  Includes: Boat use and maintenance.
• Water Adventure ($40 Extra) 
  Includes: Kayaking tour and traveling for Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced levels.

Special Discounts

You may use one of the following discounts for camp registration where applicable:

• Early Registration Discount (SAVE $10/camper)
  Details: Must register before January 31 each year.
• BGAV Church Group Discount (SAVE $20/camper)
  Details: BGAV participating church and sending 5 or more participants to our week-long camps. Excludes: Weekend camps.
• Weekend Camp Family Discount (SAVE $10/camper)
  Details: First two family members pay full price, each additional child receives the discount.
