Originally from Florida, I have been with the Virginia Baptist Mission Board since November 2001. During this time, I have served in various capacities. I, now, have the privilege of serving as the team coordinator of the Courageous Churches Team, which is currently composed of three entrepreneurial entities: Christian Community Development, V3, and Fresh Expressions.

In my role, I lead the team in fulfilling it mission to assist congregations in developing a life-transformational culture and to pursue their missional call, as well as helping Virginia Baptists facilitate a church planting movement that results in new worshipping communities emerging locally and globally. I have a passion for helping churches radically impact spiritual lostness in the community in which they reside. I’m available to discuss the multiple options available to fit the specific vision and needs of your church.

Since I'm an empty-nester, I thoroughly enjoy spending time with my wife and doing the things we have always wanted to do. I love preaching and sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ. I'm also a marathoner, an avid reader and blogger, and love to travel to faraway countries encountering new cultures and people.
